  • No. Neaux. Nough. Nope. FUHGET ABOUT IT. 😅

Trust me when I say I am WEENIE HUT JR when it comes to pain, but if I can do it, I promise you can too.

On a serious note: Most numbing creams are not approved buy the FDA because the percentage of numbing agent is potentially toxic/hazardous for your health. It has been known to get into the blood stream and cause irregular heartbeat/breathing and potentially seizures. 5%+ numbing cream is simply not appropriate for tattooing, we have bactine which helps a lot.

On the surface, numbing cream dramatically changes the texture of your skin making it hard tattoo, which often times leads to accidental overworking. There are also NUMEROUS accounts of how numbing cream affects the healing process from dulled/muddied colors to prolonged and painful heals.

Overall it is not worth the risk to your health or the tattoo. Your body has a natural numbing process that allows you to regulate and know what your limit is.

If you use numbing cream without my permission, your session will be canceled or in the case that I can’t tell initially, touchups will NOT be free.
